Looked after by our guide Said who has a fantastic knowledge of Morocco and also kept us well fed! Our accommodation was staying in Riads which were fantastic. The currency is the Dirham and is used widely. ATM are everywhere and are easy to use. Most places accept credit cards. All local guides in places we visited were excellent and were very attentive in making sure that we did not miss anything. An excellent company and would highly recommend them for a small group. On arrival, we were very happy to see 19 seater for 7 of us. Bus was very roomy for all of us.
We went around country for 10 days from Casablanca to Marrakech to Daves Valley to Merzouga to Fez to Chefchauen to Rabat and back to Casablanca.
Every group has different needs when you are on a private tour and we were no different. Mohammed happily fulfilled all our needs from stopping anywhere we wanted to choice of restaurant. Tour was well organized. Mohammed was very informative on all locations and is very versed with history of country. He has a major in English and is very well spoken person. Words come to mind for him are Kind, Helpful, soft spoken, patient, fun loving, wonderful person. We could not have enjoyed trip without him accommodating our SPECIAL needs!!
Special guide was provided on certain locations for us for the day which was great as well. Review won’t be complete without thanking our great driver Ishmael. Very safe driver.

The organization was great. We travelled and saw everything from Casablanca to Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fes, the desert which was definitely the highlight of our trip and of course at the end busy and vibrant Marrakech. The accommodation was well chosen. Every riad was authentic , clean with great food.
Our driver was Ahmed. He was very polite and friendly. He was a careful driver and wherever we went we felt safe. In Fes and Marrakech we had local guides that were very knowledgeable. In total a great experience and will recommend Magic Lamp

It was started with first day in Casablanca where our guide... read more Mohamed met us at the airport with a big van only for three of us, which frankly gave us a great pleasure & comfort while journeying throughout Morocco. His attitude was thoroughly professional and very friendly, and from Casablanca-Chafcheuen-Meknes-Fez-Merzouga-Dades-Marakkech he drove us and made us experience all the things that we asked for enroute which also included some detours. The itinerary was also set carefully (for 11 days) and it became a fantastic vacation overall. We told Magic Lamp what places we wanted to visit and our start and end dates and they did the rest. The stops and side trips included in the tour provided so many wonderful experiences and amazing memories.

The accommodation in the traditional riads was comfortable, the rooms were mostly very roomy and the meals were great. The friendliness of the staff was incredible and the traditional welcome of mint tea quickly became something we looked forward to and of course the location of the riads in the towns was spot on.

We did a 12 day tour hitting all the main highlights. In retrospect we would have really enjoyed an extra day in Chefchaouen and also at the desert camp but alas we just did not have the time.

We hit the jackpot getting MUSTAPHA as our guide. He was wonderful. His main concern at all times was that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves and that the tour was meeting our expectations. Nothing we asked was too much for him. He generously shared his country and his life with us, including a visit to his sister’s house for mint tea. He was very knowledgeable about Morocco, it’s history, it’s geography and it’s politics over the years. He greeted us each morning with a smile and said good night every evening with a smile.

Morocco is a magnificent country, the Berbers are lovely people, Magic Lamp Tours is a great tour company and Mustapha the most fantastic guide. We highly recommend them all.

Closer to the time of the trip I made contact with Mohammed and we finalised the details. On the day the trip started our driver and to our surprise, a guide was waiting for us on time ready to start the tour.
Long storey short we had a great 10 days. Visiting all the places of interest we wanted. The best bit I have to say was meeting Mohammed's family in the desert and we were fortunate to attend part of a wedding, and experience we will never forget and such a privilege.
The accommodation was comfortable, and it was a surprise to a fully functioning bathroom in our tents in the dunes.
The tour was very good value, and because of this, you need to be prepared to pay entrance fees to most of the attractions.
Our Driver Brigham (sorry do not know the spelling) was excellent, a very good driver who safely and comfortably got us through the desert and roads of Morocco. Our guide Mohammed (Mohammed's nephew), took good care of us ensuring we had what we needed for a comfortable trip. It was quite a casual relationship with a few laughs on the way. This suited us just fine.

Tip, make sure you are clear on what is included in the trip and the price early on so that you can plan for additional expenses etc.

We were able to visit the cities we wanted to visit like Marrakech, Casablanca, Fez, and the blue city of Chefchaouen.

We were able to trek across a minute part of the Sahara on camel, and camp in the Sahara. Saw the stars in the night sky like I've never seen them before. Viewed a desert sunset and sunrise. Visited small desert villages (i.e Ramlia) we never would have thought to visit, and other beautiful places like the Atlas Mountains, Todgha Gorge, and the Dades Valley.

Probably my favorite was getting to know our guides and meeting their families and friends. There were a lot of good laughs in between visits with our two guides.

The riads and places we stayed were lovely and clean. I already miss the food.

My friend and I are very grateful to have found MLT, and would highly recommend them.

  My friend and I impulsively decided to buy tickets to Morocco with no plan in mind and we didn't really know what to expect. Luckily, we stumbled upon the Magic... read more Lamp Tours site on our search for possible tours and booked with them. It was the best decision we made. Mohamed, the owner, was able to put together a tour that included everything we wanted and more. We were able to explore the Medinas of Marrekech and Fes, the blue city of Chefchaouen, and visit the villages that we would have never thought to on our own among other beautiful places. We were able to ride across the Sahara on camels and see the stars like never before. We really want to thank the other Mohamed and Syed for being such wonderful guides. It was a dream vacation and we are very thankful for MLT for providing that for us. We hope to visit Morocco again soon and would not hesitate to book with them again. Our Driver also named Mohamed (last name Boumss) picked us up from Casablanca airport, he was on already there even though our flight landed an hour before scheduled time. He drove us across Morocco for approx 2,000 km.

Mohamad is a safe and careful driver, he ensured that all the stops were at clean and good spots. The lunch were away from tourist traps. The best lunch was at road side grill place where we eat some great lamb and chicken. Ask for Mohamad Boumass if you book your trip from MLT. He is Berber from Desert and knows a lot about Morocco.

We went to Casa - Chefchouhan - Fes - Desert - Marrkesh - Casa and everything in between. Had lots of fun and great memories and thank you MLT, Mohamad and Mohamad.
