Day 1: Tangier – Rabat – Meknes:

Meet in tangier, the bridegroom of the North as its nicknamed in Morocco. Tangiers are proud for their city. Pick up and drive through the Rif Mountains with enclosed valleys and Berber towns. We reach Chefchaouen. The façades of houses are painted with white and indigo, narrow squares manifesting the Moorish impact. Continuation to Meknes and visit the local sightseeing: Bab Mansor, The basin Swani, Moulay Ismail Mosoleum. Overnigh in a charming Riad or hotel.

Day 2: Meknes – Fez:

After breakfast, we start our journey to Fez. We drive to the Roman ruins of volubilis where have a guide visit through the ruins. After the visit, we drive to the nearby Moulay driss town for lunch. At the afternoon, we drive the rest of our journey to Fez.

Day 3: Fez sightseeing:

Fez or Fes is the first Moroccan imperial city. It holds a wealth of attractions and described as the spiritual centre of Morocco. The Karaouiyin University of Fez is considered among the oldest in the world. Hiring a local guide in Fez is essential to have a complete visit. You start the journey with a visit of royal palace and the ceramics and poetry looking at hand made artefacts. You move with your guide to explore the ancient University of Karaouiyin, the Tanneries and the vibrant alleys of the old quarter. You will admire the bustling streets of the Medina where merchants open their shops. After an active journey we take you back to your hotel.

Day 4: Fez – Erfoud – Merzouga:

After breakfast, we depart to Merzouga desert. On the way we cross the town of  Immouez, a summer resort and a town which gives out the Sais plains. We continue through Ifrane, famous for the university of alAkhawayn (the brothers university), and the royal palace. We stop in Azrou cedar forest where we take pictures of the macaque monkeys. We head Midelt for lunch. We keep moving through the High Atlas Mountains and we cross Errachida, Erfoud which is famous for the fossil’s preparation. We drive the rest of the itinerary to Merzouga through Rissani. Overnight in a campfire with Berber music.

Day 5: Merzouga – Boumalne Dades:

In order to take lovely pictures, you will be awaken before sunrise. Then, you drive back your camels to the hotel for showers and breakfast. We depart to Dades Gorges, and stop in Rissani to have a visit of the local Market. We cross Erfoud and with end up in Todgha Gorges for lunch. We devote some time to walk among the cliffs of Todgha gorges and along the Todgha river where we exchange the heat of the Sahara desert with the cool weather of the Atlas Mountains. We keep moving to Dades Gorges via Boumalne. Overnight and dinner in a hotel.

Day 6: Boumalne Dades – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech:

After breakfast, We drive to Marrakech. On the way we cross the village of roses where the festival of roses is taken place every year. We drive through Ouarzazate to Ait Benhadou Village where we visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhadou which is declared a world heritage by the UNESCO and where many movies have been shot, to mention a few the Gladiatot, lawrence of Arabia an so on. After lunch we drive the rest of our way to Marrakech via the tichka Pass(2260m). Arrival in Marrakech at the early evening.

Day 7: Marrakech sight seeing:

Today will be dedicated to explore Marrakech. Historical visit of Marrakech will include Menara garden, a magnificent pool surrounded by flowers and other impressive sights such as the koutoubia Mosque (the twin tower of Giralda in Seville, Spain). The Saadian tombs demonstrate the Moorish architecture with its perfection, The Bahia palace and Madrassa Ibn Youssef. The guide take you to the restaurant for lunch.

Evening drums will draw you to the Djemaa El Fna (main city square). It’s a festival atmosphere, with snake charmers, Berber and Gnoua musicians, and storytellers illuminated by lamplight and wreathed in smoke. Food stalls on the square sell fresh salads, soups, fried fish and chips, chicken and beef kebabs and even boiled snails or sheep’s head. Finish it off with a glass of sweet cinnamon tea.

Day 8: Marrakech hotel – Airport:

After Breakfast and at the appropriate time we transfer you to the Airport. Far well!
